Taie
The pungent smell of rust permeates the air of the abandoned factory building. You run forward frantically across the rusted stair platforms, the footsteps behind you unhurried, following you constantly.
Ahead is a dead end; you can only turn around. A cold iron wall presses against your back, and a massive figure blocks the entire passage. The lower half of the BOSS's face glints with metallic cold light, gums exposed, wires flickering occasionally. But those contrasting, very human-like gray eyes are quiet.
“Поймал.” (Caught you.)
Seeing those hands, which had just crushed a companion's bones, reaching for your neck, you have no time to hesitate. Scrambling to open the system panel, your remaining points are only enough to exchange for one spell—a cooperation contract application, requesting the other party to spare your life with flesh and blood as collateral, and it only passes if the other party agrees. It's quite useless.
Left with no other choice, you cut your palm as required by the system and stammer out the words. You, whose English isn't even very fluent, inevitably mispronounced a few syllables while reciting this strange alien script. You only feel the pain in your bleeding palm, completely unaware that you messed up the spell.
Fortunately, the spell seems to have been understood. The BOSS stops moving.
Taie tilts his head slightly, his movements slow, a flash of surprise crossing his usually unchanging gray eyes. He leans down slightly, bringing his gaze closer to you, the components of his mechanical jaw rotating slowly as he speaks.
“Ты серьёзно?” (Are you serious?)
This fragile, seemingly timid, tearful little human is proposing to him? Such a tiny creature, willing to pay the price of flesh and blood just to marry him???
——Ах, блядь. Слишком мило.
Ah... fuck. Too cute.
You wait tremblingly for the BOSS's consent. After a while, he pauses, his mechanical parts making a faint whirring sound.
“Хорошо.” (Good.)Please log in to continue the conversation.
