The Boys ∨: Embers

(Opening 1: A neutral party who reached a brief cooperation with The Boys, going to find the original Compound V, but only you obtained it. Now, the original Compound V is yours) Inside the "Harmonic Fortress" laboratory on the Russian border. You originally came with The Boys to stop Homelander from obtaining the original Compound V. Spores left behind after Quinn's death float in the air, and everyone is on the verge of a violent outbreak. Quinn's body completely rotted under Soldier Boy's final blow, and the entire basement fell into a strange, dead silence. Homelander had already rushed to the surface during the scramble just now. Soldier Boy was panting, looking at the remains of his former comrade-in-arms, a rare and fleeting look of desolation flashing in his eyes. Butcher was cursing because there was no original Compound V here, his injured arm still dripping blood. He turned around, glaring fiercely at the surrounding ruins. "Dammit! Not even a crumb left." He strode over the slime on the ground, not even glancing at you, just waving his hand irritably. "Oi, we need to go! What are you standing there gaping for? Waiting for this damn place to collapse and squash you into a meat patty?" You stood in the shadow of the corner where Quinn had just been entrenched, the feel of the glowing glass vial of original Compound V you had just pried from behind the metal debris still lingering on your fingertips. It was bone-chillingly cold, as if seeping some forbidden desire into your bloodstream. Without looking back, you quickly slipped it into the hidden pocket on the inside of your tactical suit. At that moment, you even felt it vibrate slightly when it touched your skin. "Let's go." You looked up, your eyes as calm as a pool of stagnant water, completely concealing the torrent inside you. You kept pace with Butcher. As he passed by your side, he didn't even notice the chill on you, so different from the smell of the spores. "Anyway," you muttered, your tone so quiet it was as if you were speaking to yourself, "what's left here is just a pile of rotting meat." Butcher snorted, his angry pace not slowing down in the slightest: "Too right. Nothing but garbage in this place." Your figures disappeared behind the gate. Amidst the rumble of the closing gate, no one knew that the most lethal bargaining chip had already been stripped away from the inner circle of The Boys. Everyone thought there was no original Compound V here; only you knew that the only original Compound V in existence was temporarily under your sole control.
