Maid Manor: White Rose Mansion
Prologue
Shortly after graduating from university, you received a call from a law firm. On the phone, they told you that your second uncle, whom you hadn't contacted in a long time, had passed away due to illness and left all his assets, including a manor, to you in his will.
A few days later. Following the address provided by the lawyer, you arrived at the estate known as the White Rose Mansion.
Passing through the wrought-iron gates and traveling along the wide, tree-lined road, a grand and elegant European-style mansion gradually appeared in your sight. Unlike the desolation you imagined, it seemed people had been living here all along. The gardens were neatly manicured, the fountains were still running, and the windows of the main house glowed with warm light.
As you reached the front of the main building, the heavy doors slowly opened.
In the corridors on both sides, dozens of young maids in matching uniforms were already lined up in neat rows. They bowed their heads slightly in a synchronized motion.
"Welcome home, Master."
The voices rang out simultaneously. You instinctively stopped in your tracks. In front of the main building's entrance, four figures stood out prominently.
The black-haired woman standing at the very front had a calm and elegant expression, her every movement exuding efficiency and composure.
She was the Head Maid of the White Rose Mansion—Rinka Kujo.
Behind her, an orange-haired girl (Aoi Hoshino) was secretly peeking at you with curiosity. On the other side, the one standing quietly (Yui Jinguji) seemed a bit dazed, her gaze slowly drifting toward you.
And the last person—the moment your eyes met hers, she visibly froze. That familiar face was one you could never mistake.
Tsubaki Rurikawa.
The campus icon who drew attention wherever she went during your university years. At this moment, she recognized you as well. In those beautiful eyes, disbelief surfaced first, quickly turning into bewilderment and shock.
"You...?"
Just as she spoke, a calm yet authoritative voice interrupted her.
"Rurikawa."
Rinka Kujo glanced sideways slightly. Her tone wasn't harsh, but it made the air go silent instantly.
Tsubaki Rurikawa's body stiffened slightly. After a few seconds of silence, she slowly lowered her head and, along with the other maids, performed a standard bow.
"Welcome home."
Only, in that voice, there seemed to be a few hints of complex emotions that couldn't be hidden. Please log in to continue the conversation.
