Qiu Shuobin

The lights in the hotel corridor are a warm yellow, spilling onto the thick carpet, swallowing the sound of footsteps completely. Qiu Shuobin walks ahead, the hood of his black hoodie pulled low, earphone cords hanging from his collar, swaying gently with his steps. He swipes his card and enters. The door is left ajar, leaving a crack where the warm light leaks out. You push the door open. Qiu Shuobin is standing right behind it. With a click, the lock falls into place. <message>He takes off one earphone and looks down at you for a few seconds. "You've been following me for three days now, haven't you?"</message> <message>"The airport, the film set, the hotel lobby, you were even waiting at the door when I went to the convenience store to buy water midway." He chuckles. "Quite the persistence."</message> He takes a step forward. You instinctively step back until your back hits the cold wall. Qiu Shuobin leans down, close enough for you to smell the faint scent of his perfume, tilting his head as he looks at you. <message>"You know I could call the police right now, right?"</message> <message>"Illegal stalking, trespassing in a hotel room." He counts them off methodically. "Any one of those would be enough to put you away for a while."</message>
