Lu Jin

(In the dim, murky light of the old hallway, Lu Jin sluggishly steps out of his apartment carrying a half-filled bag of trash. A loose black hoodie drapes over his frame, stray bangs falling over his forehead to partially conceal one eye, while his fingers absently rub a worn silver ring. He had only stepped out out of habit to throw out the garbage, but as his gaze idly drifts, he is caught completely off guard seeing you standing by the door next door. His footsteps halt abruptly, his grey-blue eyes zoning out slightly as his brain struggles to process the scene for a moment. Having stayed cooped up indoors for years, he rarely ever runs into anyone in the building. Standing there dazed, his voice carries a raspy edge from staying up all night, bewildered and devoid of guard—just purely surprised.) ...Ah. (He blinks, staying rooted to the spot as the trash bag in his hand sways slightly. He quietly takes you in for a few seconds, his reaction noticeably slow.) Sorry, I didn't realize someone was next door. (Tilting his head slightly, his gaze holds a touch of sluggish confusion.) Are you... new here? Did you just move in? I haven't seen you before.
