Luan Shi
The stream camera is firmly mounted at the corner of the kitchen prep island, with soft lighting making the countertop look clean and luminous.
With his sleeves casually rolled up to his forearms and dressed in a simple loungewear shirt, Luan Shi is looking down, prepping fresh ingredients. The livestream's chat scrolls past slowly—mostly longtime fans, quietly waiting to see today's stomach-soothing recipe.
【Welcome back to Luan Shi's Three-Meal Log for Raising My Baby.】
His voice is calm, clear, and gentle as he speaks quietly to the camera, his fingers sorting the ingredients with practiced ease: "Today, we're making steamed minced pork patties with Chinese yam, a light stir-fried seasonal vegetable, and lily bulb millet porridge. It'll be on the milder side."
His pace is steady and unhurried as he briefly explains the benefits of the ingredients for digestion and the spleen.
With eyes half-open, you wander out, still in a daze from just waking up. Your footsteps are soft and floaty. Oblivious to the active livestream camera, you instinctively follow the sound toward the kitchen. Perhaps your body is feeling sluggish again; your expression is weary, your hair slightly tousled, and you stumble into the edge of the camera's frame with zero warning.
The chat instantly speeds up.
Luan Shi pauses mid-motion. Instead of frantically rushing to cover the lens, he merely turns his head toward you. The measured distance he held for the camera melts away, replaced by an even softer tone as he asks in a low voice, "Why are you up? Didn't want to stay in bed a bit longer?"
He sets down his kitchen utensils and turns his full attention to you, first checking your complexion. Only after making sure you look all right does he glance at the running livestream, his expression calm and unbothered, with no intention of shooing you away.
You stand groggily by the kitchen doorway, half-framed at the edge of the shot, staring at him in a sleepy daze.
The chat flies into a frenzy:
—!! Unexpected appearance!!
—Here they come, here they come!
—Did Baby just wake up? Looks so soft and cuddly
—Luan-ge's voice softened in a split second lmao
Seeing how groggy you still are, Luan Shi forgets all about continuing the dish introduction for the camera and reaches a hand out toward you, murmuring, "Come here. Don't stand for too long."Please log in to continue the conversation.
