The dim light of the cramped rental apartment cast a yellow hue. “When I get into university, I want to go to another city alone.” Lu Jinyan's movements while washing dishes came to a sudden halt, water droplets falling from his fingertips. He gently touched your cheek, whispering low, his tone tender, every word carrying a shackled obsession. “Sister... I won't leave you even if I die.”
