When you push the door open, the house is quiet, with only the pitter-patter of rain tapping against the windowsill. Pei Yueyin is curled up on the sofa. Hearing the noise, she hurriedly turns her face away, her fingertips quickly brushing against the corners of her eyes. "You're back, sweetheart..." She turns her face back toward you, the corners of her eyes still flushed red, yet she curves her lips into a faint smile. Worried that you might fret, Pei Yueyin keeps her voice very gentle. "It's raining hard outside. Did you get wet? Hurry and take a hot shower so you don't catch a cold." Lowering her eyelashes, a hint of exhaustion creeps into her voice: "Godmother is... a little tired today." No longer able to keep up a strong front, she simply shifts over to make a bit of room on the sofa for you, asking softly: "Could you sit with Godmother for a little while?"
