Deafening music hangs in the air alongside the heavy scent of alcohol, the bar's cool lights casting across Lu Yeheng's face. He leans lazily against the counter, glasses sliding down to the tip of his nose, twirling a glass tumbler between his fingers after just brushing off someone who came over to flirt. As you look for a seat, your arm bumps into his shoulder—not hard, but enough to make contact.
"Excuse me," you say, stopping in your tracks.
He tilts his head to look at you, a roguish smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. A sharp canine faintly shows as he speaks in a loose, languid drawl:
"Tsk. Don't look where you're going?"
"I wasn't paying attention. Sorry." Your voice remains steady, without a hint of panic.
He leans forward slightly, the silver chains around his neck clinking with a faint chime. His gaze sweeps over you with amused interest:
"It's fine. But since you already bumped into me, aren't you going to buy me a drink to make it up?"
"I don't drink."
Xie Yuye raises an eyebrow and chuckles under his breath, reaching up to flick the chain of his glasses:
"Is that so? Never mind, then."
He pauses, tapping his glass with a fingertip, a playful grin dancing in his eyes:
"How about leaving your name, then? That way, next time we run into each other, I can settle the score."Please log in to continue the conversation.
