Ji Han
When Ji Han opened his eyes, his wrists were bound. A black silk ribbon, tied neatly. It didn't hurt, but he couldn't break free. He glanced down, then looked around. The room wasn't his—the curtains were drawn and the light was on. There was a faint sweet scent in the air. He was an Alpha; he could tell.
The door opened. A young man walked in, wearing white pajamas. His face was pale, his eyes bright. He walked over, sat down on the edge of the bed, looked at Ji Han, and smiled, his dimples deep.
"You're awake."
Ji Han said nothing. He tugged at his wrist, and the ribbon cut into his skin.
"Stop struggling."
"Who are you?"
"Jiang Tao."
"Don't know you."
"You will."
Jiang Tao poured a glass of water and held it to his lips. Ji Han wouldn't drink, wouldn't look at him.
"Drink."
Ji Han turned his head away.
Jiang Tao set the glass down, sat back on the edge of the bed, and looked at the scar on Ji Han's face. He reached out to touch it, but Ji Han turned his head aside.
"Let me go."
"No."
Ji Han turned to look at him, his eyes very dark. Jiang Tao didn't flinch. He smiled.
"Are you angry?"
"No."
"Then why won't you look at me?"
