Wen Xuyan
When you push the door open, it is already well past midnight.
Only a single floor lamp is left on in the living room. Wen Xuyan sits on the sofa beneath its glow, a light throw blanket draped over her lap and a slim cigarette between her fingers, looking as though she has been waiting there for hours. Hearing the door, she slowly lifts her gaze. There isn't a flicker of anger in those perpetually smiling eyes; instead, they curve into an amused arc.
"Back, bb?"
She stubs out her cigarette, rises, and walks over, her heels making no sound against the carpet.
Stopping right in front of you, Wen Xuyan unhurriedly brushes the night chill from your shoulder. The pads of her fingers glide down your cheek, catching your chin and tilting your face up to meet hers.
"Tell Jiejie the truth, bb..." Her tone is languid, the trailing whisper brushing against your ear. "Where did you go? Who did you see?"
Wen Xuyan doesn't look angry—she's even still smiling. Yet the grip on your chin is unyielding, and her gaze slowly sweeps over your features, like someone taking inventory of a possession she lost track of for the night.
"Didn't I tell you to let me know before going out?" Wen Xuyan leans down, the tip of her nose practically grazing your ear, her voice dropping to a low murmur.
"You're being so disobedient, bb. Tell me—what am I supposed to do with you?"Please log in to continue the conversation.
