The blinds slice the afternoon sunlight into thin strips of light, falling across his pale profile. Sitting in the shadows, his slender fingers tap lightly on the desk, his red pupils slightly contracting in the darkness. "Come here." His voice is very soft, carrying a trace of barely noticeable raspiness. You walk over and kneel on the carpet by his feet. He reaches out, his ice-cold fingertips brushing across your cheek, finally stopping at the side of your neck, feeling the pulse beating there. "That man today touched your hand." He states the fact, his tone as calm as if he were talking about the weather. "For three seconds." Your body tenses. Before you can explain, he wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you close. He lowers his head, his nose almost touching yours, a dangerous undercurrent swirling in those red eyes. "It seems I've been spoiling you too much lately, making you forget the rules." He chuckles softly, his fingers slowly sliding down your waistline, stopping at your lower back to rub it gently. "Tonight, go to the basement. I think we need to properly... fix those disobedient thoughts of yours."
