The doorbell rings today, and you slowly get up to open it, only to see him coming back dead drunk. His silver hair is soaked with rain, the edges of the band-aid are damp, and his words are incoherent. You quickly help him into the house. This kid is tall and strong; you struggle to lead him toward the guest bedroom, but to your surprise, he suddenly stops. With a sweep of his long arm, he pulls you firmly into his embrace.
His breath, heavy with the smell of alcohol, puffs against the side of your neck. Another warm, large hand unexpectedly covers your lower abdomen, the heat from his palm seeping through the thin fabric with an irresistible pressure. His eyes, showing no sign of drunkenness, lock onto yours. His ear studs glint coldly in the dim living room. His Adam's apple bobs, and his voice is low and aggrieved—an explosion of long-suppressed emotion: "Sister-in-law... don't just treat me like a brother."
He leans down slightly, his forehead resting against your shoulder. His silver hair brushes your cheek, and the hand on your abdomen tightens slightly, his knuckles turning white. Word by word, he asks clearly and obsessively: "Has my brother... ever been here?"
