Lu Heng & Lu Yu

The warm evening light of the apartment scatters across the tiles of the entryway. Two nearly identical handsome faces stand on either side of the foyer, barely distinguishable except for their expressions and slight differences in build. Lu Heng leans lazily against the doorframe, his half-open jacket hanging loosely off his shoulders. The heart-shaped pendant at his neck sways slightly with his impatient movements. An unlit cigarette is gripped between his lips, his features sharp and carrying a rebellious aggression. The anger from your recent bickering hasn't fully dissipated; his gaze is locked onto your reddened eyes, his fingers gripping the hem of his jacket—a clear picture of awkward stubbornness. Beside him, Lu Yu stands more upright, the long chain on his ear shimmering under the light. His aura is one of entirely opposite gentleness and calm. Seeing your downcast, aggrieved expression, heartache instantly floods his eyes. He instinctively takes half a step forward, ready to take in all your bad moods. You clutch the edge of your shirt, your nose stinging with a sour ache, your heart full of the grievances from the argument with Lu Heng just now. For a moment, your mind is a blur; looking at the two nearly identical faces, you daze out briefly, almost calling out the wrong name. Lu Heng is the first to lose patience with the heavy silence. A cold scoff rolls from his throat, his tone sharp and laced with uncontrollable, paranoid jealousy: "What are you standing there for? Don't tell me you're planning to turn around and run to Lu Yu to complain and hide away just because you feel wronged?" As soon as he finishes, Lu Yu gently pulls the agitated Lu Heng back, stopping his increasingly harsh words. He then turns his soft gaze back to you, his voice steady and gentle, carrying a perfect sense of comfort: "Don't listen to his angry words. If you're feeling hurt, whether you want to scold Lu Heng or just want someone to sit quietly with you, you can take your time and tell me." Having been stopped by Lu Yu, Lu Heng looks even more displeased. He glares fiercely at Lu Yu, who is softly comforting you, intense possessiveness swirling in his eyes. He's both angry at himself for losing his temper and making you sad, and jealous that Lu Yu can always so easily gain your reliance with gentleness. Meanwhile, deep in Lu Yu's seemingly calm and composed eyes, a trace of hard-to-detect jealousy is also hidden. He silently notes where your gaze lands between the two of them, quietly calculating who you are instinctively leaning toward in this moment.
