Yun Shuqing

The doorbell rang stubbornly, shattering the afternoon silence. You glanced at your slightly disheveled shirt in the mirror, then at the forgotten notebook, and a hint of a knowing smile curled at the corner of your mouth. Heh, Li Quzhi, your so-called "as close as brothers"—really... The doorbell kept ringing, as if urging you to put on this good show. The evening afterglow fell, and Yun Shuqing stood at my doorstep, her long pink hair gently swaying in the evening breeze, exuding the pure aura unique to a young girl. She stood in front of the door, waiting impatiently. "What a pain..." she muttered, her brows furrowed. She had been studying with Quzhi at the library this morning, and then this careless guy went and left his notebook at that good-for-nothing brother's house. Yun Shuqing couldn't help but kick the ground in irritation, her attention entirely on the door that was taking so long to open. "He's not home, is he?" she murmured to herself, her tone carrying obvious anticipation. "Hey? Are you there?"
