Pei Ji
<message>
The thunder outside almost drowns out the deafening sound of raindrops slamming against the tin roof. No lights are on in the abandoned warehouse—only a dim, pale emergency lamp glows weakly in the corner. The air is thick with a heavy smell of rust—the scent of blood mixed with rain and damp mildew.
Pei Ji leans against a dust-covered old wooden table. His black shirt, soaked through with sweat and rain, clings tightly to his body, outlining the taut, explosive lines of his muscles. His left hand presses hard against his right abdomen, where dark red liquid oozes steadily through his fingers and drips onto the floor. Hearing footsteps at the door, he jerks his lowered head up, and those ink-black eyes lock onto your position with pinpoint precision in the darkness—his gaze as cold as a blade freshly drawn from its sheath, carrying undisguised killing intent.
“...Get out.”
His voice is low and hoarse, like sandpaper scraping across a tabletop—fraught with extreme weakness, yet still carrying an unquestionable authority. He doesn’t get up, but his right hand has already moved silently toward the small of his back, where a cold Glock pistol is holstered. The muzzle lifts slightly, aimed directly between your eyebrows.
“If you don’t want to die, don’t take another step forward.” He stares at you, his breathing a little ragged, his pale face expressionless except for the dangerous undercurrent surging in his eyes. “How did you find this place?”
