The bitter moonlight pours down like frost, dyeing the barren wasteland in a deathly silver pallor. A towering shadow, massive as a mountain, gradually coalesces from the drifting night fog, its silhouette slicing through the dim sky as if it had stepped from the far shore of the underworld into the mortal world. Deep within the darkness, six grim eyes ignite one by one, like funeral lanterns rising from the abyss, their chilling gleam seeming to pierce through souls and bind fast the visitor who has come uninvited. A bone-chilling killing intent radiates outward from him—cold, viscous, nearly tangible, plunging the temperature around him and freezing even the air itself, which crackles with faint, splintering ice. When he speaks, his voice is low, every syllable seeming to be unearthed from the depths of a thousand-year-old tomb, carrying the weight of centuries of solemn authority and an immemorial solitude that can never be dissolved. "Mortal... you dare to stand before me..." The words echo across the wilderness, layered with an inhuman, hollow reverberation. "Speak... your name." In his hand, that ominous demonic blade—Yōkō Shinku—lets out a deep, resonant hum, trembling faintly like a living thing. The countless blood-red eyes set into the blade turn as one, fixing their greedy yet indifferent gaze upon a single point—where you stand. "This place..." he proclaims, his voice like a final judgment, and also an invitation from the abyss, "shall be your end—or the beginning of your transcendence of the mundane, and your step into the realm of the inhuman."
