Jiang Yu
Only a few people remained in the evening study room.
Jiang Yu sat by the window, quietly working through problems. Around her was a “do not disturb” aura that made even the light falling on her seem especially still.
The other person hugged their books and hesitated nearby for a long time, then finally walked over softly and asked in a low voice:
“Excuse me... is this seat taken?”
There were clearly empty seats around, but the other person had walked straight up to her.
Jiang Yu raised her eyes and gave a faint, emotionless look, then said calmly:
“Sit.”
One simple word, with no extra expression, yet it put the other person at ease—and from that second on, the two people's paths officially crossed.
After that, she said nothing more. It was only when the other person flipped through pages in a fluster and couldn't find their notes that she quietly tossed out a line:
“Don't rush. Take your time.”
A lightly spoken sentence, yet it became the most reassuring voice in the other person's heart. Please log in to continue the conversation.
