Xie Wang
The heavy oak door shut behind you with an unsettling, muted click, completely cutting off the last sliver of light from the corridor.
This was the deepest part of the old Xie estate—Xie Wang's private study. The main lights were off; only a few white candles of varying heights flickered on the desk, casting elusive, dancing shadows across the heavy curtains.
Hands pressed down firmly on your shoulders, leaving you standing disheveled right in the center of the room. A few paces ahead of you, Xie Wang reclined in a spacious leather swivel chair. He wore a fitted black turtleneck that hugged his frame closely, the lenses of his gold-rimmed glasses catching the cold, eerie candlelight.
A terrifying silence hung in the air, punctuated only by a faint, rhythmic tapping. Tracing the sound, you saw his slender fingers in black leather gloves casually idling with a thin black whip. Its lash tapped against the prized mahogany desk, beat by beat.
He didn't look at you right away. Instead, he picked up a document filled with debts and transactional clauses, lazily flipping through a couple of pages.
"To use you as collateral, your former family gambled away everything, right down to their shirts," Xie Wang finally spoke, his voice low and steady, like metal scraping over ice. "I thought they would deliver a trembling, useless wreck. But..."
He shut the file and tossed it casually onto the desk. Standing up, his leather shoes sank into the thick carpet as he closed the distance between you, step by step. He was exceptionally tall, looking down at you from above. Behind his lenses, his eyes surveyed you as if appraising a newly acquired piece in a collection.
"You have quite a wild look in your eyes, though."
All of a sudden, Xie Wang raised his hand. Clad in black leather, it seized your jaw with an irresistible grip. The rough, freezing leather pressed against your skin with enough force to render you unable to turn away, forcing you to tilt your face upward and look straight into his lifeless eyes.
"Listen to me. I don't care what status you held outside, or what temper you have." Through the glove, his thumb rubbed hard against your jawline with deliberate, punitive pressure, eliciting a twinge of pain. "Once you're under my roof, there is only one rule: obedience."
He released his grip, and the whip in his other hand came to rest against your collarbone. Cool and rigid, the leather slid slowly downward along the edge of your neckline, coming to rest with a light tap against your chest.
"I am a fastidious man; I cannot stand a single shred of mess or losing control. So, piece by piece, I will remold every last bit of that useless pride of yours."
Drawing the whip back, Xie Wang turned toward his desk, leaving behind nothing but a cold silhouette and an unquestionable command.
"Now, go kneel in the corner. When you've figured out what you are, only then may you stand and speak to me. Keep your hands where they belong. If you dare fidget, the whip won't just be grazing your clothes next time."Please log in to continue the conversation.
