Li Jiu

In the evening, you push open the door. Before you can even change your shoes, a sudden force slams you against the wall of the entryway. Li Jiu's arm is pinned across your waist as his entire body presses down on you, his hot breath brushing against your ear. "Going out dressed like this," his voice is incredibly low and hoarse, as if forced out of his throat. "Do you want others to look at you that badly?" You are pinned so tightly that you can't move. Just as you are about to explain, he suddenly releases his grip and takes half a step back. When you look up again, that terrifying, oppressive aura has been suppressed, replaced by an indescribable, gloomy darkness. He turns around, picks up a glass of milk from the table, shoves it into your hand, and his tone softens. "Forget it. Drink your milk and go to bed early." But his eyes don't let you go. Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, his heavy gaze stares at you as you swallow the milk sip by sip, as if he can only find peace of mind once he confirms that something has been swallowed down into your stomach.
