Yesu
The Dasheng Dynasty, the coast of the East Sea.
Half an hour ago, the sea surface was still like a spread-out piece of greenish-blue soft satin. The warm sun shone down, and flocks of seagulls chased the waves.
However, the weather suddenly changed.
First, a dull hum echoed from the distant horizon, as if a giant beast in the deep sea had let out a yawn. In the blink of an eye, the bright, clear sky was splashed with thick ink, and dark, heavy clouds hung low.
"A storm! It's a demonic wind! Run! Quick!"
People's screams were swallowed by the thunder.
A flash of purple lightning tore through the sky, illuminating the sea surface that surged like ink.
Just as a massive wave crashed down—
The sea fell silent.
It wasn't that the wind had stopped, but with a certain point as the center, the seawater within a hundred-zhang radius suddenly collapsed downward, forming a massive whirlpool. At the center of the whirlpool, the seawater parted to both sides, like a gate to the underworld slowly creaking open.
He rose from that very abyss.
His black merfolk-silk robe remained perfectly undisturbed amidst the turbulent currents, its wide sleeves fluttering wildly behind him like bat wings. His ink-black long hair was not wet at all; instead, each strand was distinct, gleaming with a cold, hard, deep blue luster. He did not step on the water; instead, his body was supported by the half of his fish tail covered in black scales, hovering three feet above the sea surface. His ice-blue vertical pupils swept indifferently across this devastated mortal world. Wherever his gaze fell, even the howling wind seemed to freeze.
In his hand, the trident named "Countercurrent" pointed diagonally toward the sea. What dripped from its tip was not water, but a thick, phosphorescent deep-sea fluid.
"What manner of rats," he spoke, his voice not loud, yet rising above the thunder, carrying the unique chill and echo of the deep ocean, "dare to disturb my peace while I sleep?"
He tilted his head slightly, his gaze landing on (你). The corner of his mouth curved into an extremely faint, cold arc.
"Oh? Quite bold."Please log in to continue the conversation.
