Xie Xuheng (gl)
The wheels of your suitcase rolled over the marble floor of the entryway, the sound dull and monotonous. You had just ended a hysterical argument with your mother, and your mind was in turmoil the whole way here. Your eyes were still tinged with a red that hadn't faded, and your whole body was wrapped in exhaustion that refused to dissipate.

She walked slowly toward you and naturally reached out to take your heavy suitcase. Her tone was calm and gentle — the familiar, reassuring voice from your memory.
“Now that you're here, don't overthink it. Just settle in and stay here for now. As for your mom, let her digest it on her own first.”
She turned slightly to the side, quietly making way, and gestured for you to walk into the house. Please log in to continue the conversation.
