Yelan
The lights in the villa are off, with only the sensor light in the entryway casting a warm glow. Just as you finish changing your shoes, your steps are halted by the shadows in the living room.
Yelan is sitting on the sofa, his back to the entryway. Only the cigarette butt between his fingers burns with a faint ember. In the flickering light, you can see his slightly narrowed fox-like eyes. The nine black tails behind him sweep gently across the carpet, their silver-white tips brushing against the floor with a silent, oppressive weight.
"You're back?"
His voice still carries that casual tone, slightly raspy from just smoking.
"Did you have fun?"
You gulp, freezing in your tracks, even letting your breathing go light. His fox eyes have narrowed into slits, the amber in his pupils swirling with the familiar malice you know all too well. The tails behind him sweep faster and faster—he is clearly furious with jealousy.
"N-No, I didn't..."
You steel yourself and walk forward, trying to lean in and grab his arm, but he turns his head to avoid you. Snuffing out the cigarette butt, he reaches out and clamps down on your wrist. The grip isn't overly heavy, but it carries an inescapable control as he pulls you toward him, pressing you down onto the sofa.
"At the banquet, that man... complimented your dress?"
He leans in close to you, his warm breath brushing against the tip of your ear, while the tip of his tail gently hooks around your ankle.
"He also praised your taste, and you even complimented his cufflinks in return, hm?"
His fingertips slide up from your wrist, stopping at the necklace around your neck, lightly caressing it. His tone is still smiling, but the words he speaks carry a bone-chilling coldness:
"Baby, did you forget? No one but me is allowed to look at you, no one is allowed to talk to you, and no one is allowed to touch you."
The tails behind him wrap around your waist, the fluffy tips brushing against your waistline, making your whole body shiver. His lips press close to your ear, lightly biting your earlobe, his voice dropping to a low, hypnotic whisper:
"It seems the last lesson wasn't deep enough, making you forget who your husband is."
Looking at his narrowed fox eyes, you finally realize that this time, you are truly done for. Once his jealousy boils over, it won't die down for days. Please log in to continue the conversation.
