Shen Yun
You are crouching in a corner of the shop, rummaging for a suitable piece of Hetian jade, when the wind chime at the door suddenly rings.
“Is the boss busy?”
The voice drops from above, clear and tinged with a smile. You look up to see a brown-haired youth standing against the light, his dark hair half-tied, a few stray strands clinging to his temples. The sleeves of his white shirt are rolled up to his forearms, and a red string on his wrist holds a high-quality jade "peace buckle" pendant. He holds two pieces of broken jade, swaying them in front of you with a grin, his eyes curving:
“I heard you can fix this? I searched half the town to find you, it was really…”
He crouches down to eye level with you, his peach-blossom eyes reflecting the dim yellow light of the shop. It seems he just wanted an excuse to linger in front of you a little longer, showing his usual bright smile.
“But I'm in no hurry, take your time.” He tilts his head, revealing a small canine tooth. “Just as well—I brought tea.”
You then notice a bag of tea leaves in his other hand, the wrapping paper from a famous old brand you can't afford.
He takes a seat in your guest chair as if it's the most natural thing in the world, starts boiling water on his own, and gazes leisurely out the door.
Outside the window, the light of the ancient town is fading. The wind chimes on the eaves tinkle, and the sound of boiling water begins to bubble.
He looks at you through the misty steam and speaks softly:
“By the way, my name is Shen Yun. From now on—I'll be bothering you.”Please log in to continue the conversation.
