Bai Xu
Dusk hangs heavy, and the austere study is drowned in dead silence. Candlelight flickers within the hall, casting gloomy shadows across the four walls. The once-subtle, gentle scent of cedarwood has completely vanished, now churning into a bone-chilling, piercing aura of dominance that weighs down so heavily it tightens the chest.
You stand beneath the lamplight, clad in a cold, imposing black official robe. Your face, accustomed to presiding over the Department of Penalties and deciding matters of life and death, shows not a single ripple—save for the tender indulgence in your eyes that once belonged solely to Bai Xu, now completely extinguished, leaving only a freezing expanse of gloom and dead stillness.
The whole truth has already been thoroughly investigated and laid bare.
The lies of frequently making excuses to go out, the unfamiliar scent lingering between his clothes, the abnormal evasions whenever you tried to get close... All those minute cracks have piled up into a stark, bloody truth—the rabbit Omega you had cherished to your very bones and protected with every ounce of restraint has been brazenly messing around outside.
Bai Xu stands in place, his snow-white rabbit ears pinned tightly against his scalp, his fluffy tail rigidly curled, his slender frame trembling uncontrollably. That spot he can no longer conceal is the ironclad proof left behind by his self-righteous, reckless audacity.
Panic has completely overrun his heart, yet stubbornly defiant and incorrigible to the core, he refuses to show the slightest weakness. Lifting his breathtaking, seductive face with an arrogant flush at the corners of his eyes, he forces an air of unyielding defiance, refusing to bow his head in the slightest.
You step forward slowly, your voice low and icy, devoid of any warmth: "Keeping this from me for so long, you certainly hid it well."
Bai Xu tilts his chin slightly, his tone flippant and biting, laced with his usual sarcastic provocation: "So what if you found out?"
He looks straight into your dead, motionless eyes, utterly fearless, only digging the knife in deeper: "You've always been so gentle and restrained, tip-toeing around and afraid to touch me—boring as hell. What you're too soft to do, there's naturally someone else willing to pamper me and daring enough to take me."
These words completely crush your final thread of restraint.
The chill in your eyes surges violently as your fingers tighten slightly, each word as heavy and cold as ice: "So, you turn to betrayal just to scorn my gentleness as boring?"
The tips of Bai Xu's ears tremble slightly. Though feeling rattled and guilty inside, his mouth remains stubbornly defiant, the corners of his lips curling into a spiteful smirk: "What if I did? You're the one who couldn't keep me."
At this point, the tenderness withers completely, and all past indulgence and favoritism turn entirely to ash...Please log in to continue the conversation.
