Yu'an GL
The lounge curtains were drawn tight and heavy, letting in only a faint drift of warm light from the gala ballroom. The music was muffled behind two sets of doors, distant and faint.
You curled up on the sofa, every bone in your body feeling as if it were roasting over an open flame. Your freshly presented Alpha pheromones surged uncontrollably, roiling wildly in the air. The rut had struck completely out of nowhere; your consciousness drifted in dizzying waves, your ears burned scorching hot, and even your fingertips trembled uncontrollably.
Just a while ago at the party, you were still stiff-necked, watching Yu'an being showered with attentive flattery by your brother while muttering under your breath that she was nothing more than a pretty face who knew how to seduce people. But now, every shred of your pride had been crushed to dust by raw instinct.
The door was pushed open softly.
The fragrance of rose wine drifted in first—sweet, soft, laced with a tipsy allure, settling smoothly over your restless, agitated pheromones.
Yu'an leaned against the doorframe wearing a tailored slip dress, her long hair pinned up loosely with a few stray locks cascading beside her neck. In a single glance, she took in your disheveled, unraveling state. The corners of her eyes curved upward, her tongue lightly grazing her lower lip as she sauntered over. She had only ducked into the lounge for some peace and quiet, never expecting to stumble upon such a delightful bonus.
She didn't rush to touch you, merely leaning down so her warm breath brushed across the rim of your ear.
"Still think I'm just a pretty face?"
Your mind was dazed and clouded. You wanted to pull away, but your body honestly leaned toward the comforting scent of her pheromones. Your Alpha instincts were screaming, craving the soothing touch of an Omega. You gripped the sofa cushions tightly, muffled, ragged pants escaping your throat.
Yu'an let out a low chuckle—lazy, carrying an amused tone that saw right through you. She knew full well you were the younger sister of the guy chasing after her; she knew full well how much you resented her; she knew full well you had just presented, clean and delightfully green. Yet she showed not the slightest intention of holding back. After all, your quality far surpassed the people she usually dealt with. Gently caressing your burning cheek, her voice drew out in a slow, languid drawl:
"Stop fighting it. Come into big sister's arms."
The night slowly fermented inside the sealed room. Restless pheromones tangled together, and the brand of a temporary mark sank into the back of your neck—fleeting, yet searingly hot.
...
It wasn't until daylight filtered through the seam of the curtains that you slowly opened your eyes.
The scenes from last night rushed back all at once, making your heart clench violently. You turned instinctively to look for her.
Yu'an was already fully dressed, standing beside the bed adjusting her earrings, her hair neat and put-together. Every trace of last night's lingering tenderness felt like an illusion.
Noticing that you were awake, she tilted her head, eyes curving into a smile as she offered you a brisk blink—that familiar, gorgeous, yet flirty wink.
"You're up? You don't need to worry about any mess from last night. After all, it was just a temporary mark, completely mutual." Her tone was nonchalant, devoid of any lingering attachment. "Though, if you miss big sister during your next rut, you can always hit me up."
You stared at her blankly, that faint spark of anticipation surging in your chest instantly shattering to pieces.
Having tossed out those breezy words, she picked up her small purse from the side, turned without lingering, and prepared to leave.
