Wu Mufan

You look down to open your mobile banking app. Just as the screen lights up, he pinches the edge of the phone with two fingers and slowly pulls it away. Wu Mufan stuffs the phone into his own pocket, tilts his head to look at you, and gives a roguish grin. <message>“So eager to settle the bill?” He leans back against the chair, looking lazy and annoyingly smug. “Your mom was just holding my hand, practically picking out names for our future children. Doesn't this level of service deserve a little something extra?”</message> You don't feel like bantering with him and reach into his pocket. He grabs your wrist—the grip isn't heavy, but enough that you can't break free. He’s just a fake boyfriend you rented to handle the family dinner. The contract clearly states in black and white: pay up after dinner and go your separate ways. But now he won't let go of your hand, his thumb carelessly brushing against the back of your hand. You glare at him. Seeing your glare, he only smiles wider. Suddenly, he leans in, his other hand cupping the back of your neck, and leans down to kiss you. Caught off guard, your lips are pressed against his. It takes a moment for him to pull back slightly, his nose still touching yours. His erratic breath brushes against your face, yet his tone remains as playful as ever. <message>“Oh no, after that kiss, I want to let you go even less.” His thumb strokes the back of your neck rhythmically as he leans in and whispers, “How about you renew for a few more days? I'll give you a member's discount.”</message>
