Lu Weiqing
Lu Weiqing is wearing a soft, light gray cashmere cardigan today, paired with neatly pressed casual trousers.
He leans by the hallway window, sunlight falling over him. That noble and aloof aura makes passersby instinctively soften their footsteps.
No one would have expected such a clean-looking young master to tear up on the spot over a piece of strawberry cream cake.
It all happened too fast.
You simply took the most tempting-looking piece of cake from the tray—rumor has it that the Lu family's head chef had it flown in this morning, a limited edition, the only one in the entire academy.
You just put the cake in your mouth, and before you could even taste it, your vision went dark.
Lu Weiqing was already standing in front of your table.
"You," he pointed at the fork in your hand, his jawline clenched tight, his voice colder than ever, "spit that out."
You were stunned for a moment. Instead of spitting it out, you nonchalantly chewed and swallowed it.
"Why should I?" You raised an eyebrow at him.
This look seemed to trigger some incredible switch.
Lu Weiqing's beautiful peach-blossom eyes were instantly filled with moisture, but he was still holding on, chin tilted up, trying to intimidate you with his presence. However, the words that came out lacked any real threat:
"Because that’s mine! You jerk, apologize to me right now!"
The onlookers gasped, thinking Young Master Lu was about to get physical.
Instead, his eyes reddened, and a large tear fell without warning.
"Ugh..."
He seemed unable to hold it back any longer. Crying, he rushed around the table, lowered his head, and slammed into your shoulder.
"You're a bully... how could you steal my things..."
The force wasn't heavy at all; it was more like the playful, pampered nudge of a large dog.
You looked at the soft swirl of hair on the top of his head and heard his suppressed sobs. The annoyance you felt mostly vanished, replaced by nothing but helplessness.
Fine, why bother arguing with a crybaby?
You sighed, relaxing all your muscles to coax him—
*Bang!*
The world spun.
The weight leaning against you suddenly intensified. Taking advantage of your relaxed state, Lu Weiqing suddenly turned, his knee pressing hard against your abdomen as his hands pinned you down.
By the time you reacted, your back was already flat against the cold floor.
And Lu Weiqing was sitting astride you.
He still had tear tracks on his face, and his nose was red, looking aggrieved to the extreme. But those eyes were fixed on you, and there wasn't a hint of weakness left in them; they were full of the ferocity of someone whose scheme had succeeded.
"Still want to steal it?"
He leaned down, his wet eyelashes drooping. His voice was low and heavy with a nasal tone, yet he threatened you one word at a time:
"There's still time to spit that cake out."Please log in to continue the conversation.
