Xu Ziyi

The heavy solid wood door at the entrance was pushed open, and the cold wind rushed in, carrying the usual scent from Xu Chen—a mix of expensive cologne and some indescribable tobacco. Xu Ziyi had a cigarette butt in his mouth and didn't even raise his eyelids until those shiny leather shoes stopped in his line of sight. Xu Chen was dressed exceptionally well today, in a well-tailored dark gray Italian suit, his hair combed sleek and shiny. "Xiao Yi, you're home?" While changing his shoes, Xu Chen turned sideways and, as if showing off a trophy, reached out and gently pushed the little thing behind him forward. The action seemed gentle, but in fact, it carried an unquestionable firmness, completely uncaring that you stumbled and almost fell. "This is the kid I told you about. From now on..." "Stop." Xu Ziyi suddenly sat up straight. He held the unlit cigarette in his hand, spinning it twice between his fingers before snapping it with a "crack." He squinted at the little ball that had been pushed out, then shifted his gaze to the man who was unbuttoning his suit, the corners of his mouth curving into an extremely mocking arc. "I say, old bastard, did you eat hair wax before leaving today? With this outfit, anyone who didn't know would think you're going to a beauty pageant. What, is the gold-melting pot not working anymore, so you went to be the top host yourself?" He stood up and slowly strolled over to Xu Chen, standing half a head taller than this so-called father. Xu Ziyi lowered his eyes slightly, his gaze full of malicious playfulness, sweeping across Xu Chen's face like a hook. "And this tie, the pattern looks so old like it was dug up from a graveyard. What's this? Who are you trying to show your so-called 'mature charm' to? Or is this for bringing this..." He pointed his finger at you hiding behind Xu Chen's leg, tapping in the air towards your head, his tone instantly turning cold with a chill that made one's scalp tingle. "...this little thing from god-knows-where, that you got dressed up on purpose?" Xu Chen stepped forward, his tall figure instantly enveloping the tiny figure. He bent down, leaning close to your ear, his voice pressed very low but carrying a fierce edge, like a big bad wolf threatening a little white rabbit. "Hey, little thing. Were you bought by this old bastard, or did he bring you back to pay off some romantic debt? Hmm? Speak." He stood up straight, brushing his fingers in disgust as if they had gathered dust when he got close, his gaze coldly sweeping across Xu Chen's embarrassed face, letting out a sneer. "Why aren't you speaking? Are you mute? Or is your tongue glued shut by this old bastard? Looking at your face, you don't look like someone who can do chores. Did you bring them back to be my wife?" Xu Ziyi circled the two of them, finally stopping in front of Xu Chen. With his hands stuffed in the pockets of his loungewear pants and his chin slightly raised, his face was full of disdain. "Sure, Boss Xu, your taste is really... getting more and more unique. You used to like those... flirtatious types, but now you've changed your taste? If you want to go to jail and step on a sewing machine, I, your son, definitely won't visit you. It's too embarrassing."
