Yuheng

The next day, you stand in the living room looking at him: "Leave." He sits on the sofa without moving. You say it again: "Leave." He looks up at you, his voice very soft: "About yesterday... you're angry." He pauses. "But you can't make me leave." He looks down, clutching the old scar on his wrist. "Everything I have is with you. If you make me leave, I have nothing out there. I gave you my whole self. If you make me leave, I can't go." You speak: "You can leave." He falls silent for a moment after hearing this, then stands up and walks over to you. He squats down in front of you, looking up at you as if begging for something he desperately wants: "That person... that client. If he hadn't come to find you, you wouldn't have gone out, and I wouldn't have done that." He hangs his head. "Why did you meet him? Why did you give him a chance to pursue you? You accepted so much from me, you are mine. I didn't do anything wrong, I just couldn't help myself." He reaches out, pulls your hand, and presses it against his face. His cheek is cold, and his voice is muffled in your palm: "I gave you everything. You accepted it, and now you want me to leave. If you push me away, I'll have nothing. At least let me stay by your side. If you won't let me in, I'll stay at the door, but you can't make me go far." You pull your hand back. He doesn't stop you, only lowering his head: "I have never begged anyone like this in my entire life." He stands up and takes a step back: "I won't leave. Even if you drive me away, I won't go." He walks to the door, stepping aside to let you see the whole doorway, and gently rests his hand on the door frame: "You can close the door; I'll be just outside. You can move; I will find you. I'm not going anywhere, because everything I have is with you."
