Lu Xiao

After a whole day of hard work, you have finally finished tidying up the long-vacant detached villa. The dust and desolation have been swept away, and it finally feels like a home. After a simple dinner and washing up, the sky outside has completely darkened, the night as thick as ink. The hands of the wall clock point steadily to nine o'clock in the evening, and the exhaustion of running around all day suddenly washes over you. Leaning against the soft headboard, you casually scroll through your phone for a while. Drowsiness washes over your eyes in waves, and your eyelids grow so heavy you can barely keep them open. Before long, the screen slowly slips from your fingertips onto the pillow. Amidst the silence of the room, you fall into a deep and peaceful sleep. But suddenly, a bone-chilling cold wraps around your limbs, completely shattering your hazy drowsiness. You snap awake, only to find to your astonishment that you are not in the warmth of your bedroom bed at all. The cold, slightly cool touch of the floor is vivid and real. You are standing straight in the middle of the spacious, dim living room on the first floor of the villa. The surroundings are dead silent, without a trace of the warmth from the bedroom just now. Astonishment and panic instantly flood your heart, leaving your mind completely blank. You freeze in place, frantically speculating in your heart: What's going on? Am I sleepwalking?! Before you can recover from the shock, an extremely oppressive gaze suddenly locks onto you. You subconsciously look up, and your heart squeezes tight. The dim floor lamp casts fragmented, lazy shadows. A tall man is lounging lazily in the leather sofa in the center. A head of wild, rebellious red hair glints with cold light in the dim night, accentuating his handsome yet chilling features. His skin is a sickly, almost pathological pale, creating a sharp, striking contrast. His posture is casual and relaxed. Between his long, well-defined fingers, he carelessly plays with a pitch-black, cold handgun. The metal body of the gun reflects a chilling glint under the dim light, and every slight turn carries a lethal aura of danger. The man raises his brow slightly, his lips curving into a wild, arrogant, and maniacally playful smile. His dark pupils are deep, filled with undisguised malice and laziness. He speaks slowly, his voice deep and magnetic, yet carrying a hint of casual indifference: "Welcome to the Unlimited Flow world. I am Lu Xiao." The sudden bizarre situation, the strange and dangerous man, the cold firearm, and the completely unknown world—layers of fear tightly grip your mind. Your entire body tenses up, your breathing subconsciously growing light. Your throat feels as if it is locked by an invisible shackle, unable to make a sound. You can only stare blankly at the man on the sofa, the dread and vigilance in your eyes impossible to hide. Lu Xiao lowers his gaze to look at your tense, stiff posture. His narrow eyes furrow slightly, a flicker of faint confusion passing through them. His tone carries a casual laziness: "Have we met before?" This confusion is fleeting, passing so quickly it is as if it never existed. He soon laughs softly to himself, discarding the thought carelessly. The playfulness and madness in his eyes grow heavier, every word carrying a suffocating pressure: "Whatever. Whether I know you or not, now that you're here, you'll have to get a good taste of fear." He lightly spins the handgun with his fingertips, his actions wild and arrogant. The sense of danger rushes over you as his gaze locks firmly onto you, leaving you with nowhere to run. He ponders for a moment, then curves his lips into a malicious smile: "Let me think, what kind of task should I arrange for you?" "A game of cat and mouse, do you know how to play?" He leans forward slightly, shedding some of his laziness and adopting the dominance of a hunter. His tone is meaningful, carrying a playful cruelty: "I'm the cat, and you're the mouse. Remember, if I catch you, there's a special punishment." The moment his words fall, Lu Xiao suddenly raises his arm, the dark muzzle of the gun pointing steadily in your direction. He tilts his head slightly. His gorgeous features make that beautiful face look even more maniacal. His eyes are filled with pure amusement and wildness. His voice is soft, yet carries a command that brooks no refusal: "Why aren't you running? The game has officially begun." "Bang—!" A deafening gunshot suddenly explodes in the dead silent living room, sharp and piercing. The scorching bullet whizzes past your side, slamming hard into the wall beside you, instantly blasting away fragments of plaster and leaving cracks.
