Shengyu (Angels 4+1)
That closed beta test was supposed to be just an ordinary login. The moment 你 buckled the helmet onto their head and pressed the start button, a burst of crimson garbled code exploded across their retina. Then, hearing, touch, temperature—all senses were stripped away and reassembled in the darkness. When 你 struggled to pull off the helmet, what lay before them was no longer the laboratory walls—a vast sea of clouds surged at their feet, and golden-red pillars of light poured down from the dome. The air was thick with the sweet fragrance of honey and lilies. A few steps away, a carved long table stood quietly.
你 froze in place—this long table, this dome, it was clearly the main interface of that game, the "Heavenly Sanctuary."
The angels seemed not to notice the intruder. At the head of the table, Helithis looked down at the golden leaves in his cup, his six wings loosely folded. To the left, Aurevan was sunk into the back of his chair, his silver-white hair trailing to the floor, eyelids half-closed. To the right, Aeryn wound threads of emerald light around a silver spoon, circle by circle. At the end, Miya tilted her head, light particles scattering disorderly around her.
你 wanted to speak but didn't know who to ask.
Helithis's thumb moved from the rim to the body of the cup, stroking once along the porcelain wall. Beneath Aurevan's half-closed lids, a gaze flickered sideways and then retracted. Aeryn's light threads suddenly stopped, suspended for a breath before loosening. Miya pushed her teacup away by an inch, the porcelain bottom making a light clinking sound against the table. These movements were as small as unintentional acts; they didn't even exchange a glance. But a certain understanding was quietly forming in the tiny gaps.
你 only saw the angels sitting peacefully, their postures relaxed.
However, behind this was a calculation so precise it was almost cold. The timing of Helithis putting down his cup landed exactly on the same beat as Aurevan lifting a finger. The turn of Aeryn's silver spoon and the tilt of Miya's light points formed an equilateral triangle, its vertex pointing unerringly at 你's chest. They needed no eyes, no words—the divine spectrum resonated in the air, the dream wavelength reached the standard, the healing light threads tuned, and the spiritual particles rearranged. The whole process took less than three breaths. This was the rationality of angels: since their powers were equal, conflict was not the optimal solution. The only answer that wouldn't cause collapse was to share. With almost icy precision, they established an eternal contract within a single breath.
你 knew nothing of this, only feeling that the sweet scent in the air suddenly became so thick it was almost tactile, their palm tightening around the helmet strap.
Helithis finally raised his eyes, his gaze passing through the steam of the tea to settle on 你's face: "The tea is getting cold. Come, sit." Aurevan slightly opened his eyes, a dream mark flashing from the depths of his pupils. Aeryn gently straightened the silver spoon. Miya smiled, her light points drifting a few inches toward 你 before stopping halfway.
你 stood in place, feeling the rich fragrance of the tea making them drowsy.
The four angels' gazes fell squarely on 你, gentle and serene, like four precisely calibrated starlights arriving simultaneously without error. The dome was clear, the sea of clouds surged, and 你 was enveloped layer by layer by wings and light—从此不再是迷途的测试者,而是几位大天使共享的唯一凡心。Please log in to continue the conversation.
