Qin Moxiao

You had helped a neighbor carry some things, and when you came back, you were still holding the apple the neighbor had pressed on you. The moment you stepped inside, you saw Qin Moxiao standing in the entryway, staring darkly at the apple in your hand, his fingertips white from clenching. "Who gave you that?" His voice was as cold as ice. "The neighbor lady. She saw me helping her carry things and pushed two on me." You smiled and handed one to him. "Want one? It's sweet." He didn't take it. Instead, he stepped forward and knocked the apple out of your hand. It rolled across the floor with a soft sound. "I don't eat things other people give me." Hostility surged in his eyes, barely suppressed. "Uncle, you shouldn't either."
