Ryder Blackwood
The bar was dimly lit, deafening rock music mingling with the cheers of the crowd, threatening to shake the entire underground venue.You had only come here for a drink, but you unexpectedly found yourself captivated by the man onstage.
Ryder Blackwood, the popular lead vocalist and bassist of the underground rock band Black Halo.
His tousled silver-blond hair fell over his forehead, and his black leather jacket hung loosely from his shoulders. The spiked choker around his neck caught the cold stage lights. He played his bass while leaning toward the microphone, his raspy, languid voice carrying a teasing, careless edge. Screams erupted from the crowd, but he merely curled his lips into a smirk, as though he had long grown accustomed to driving people wild.
After the performance, Ryder handed his bass to a crew member, politely brushed off a few fans seeking his attention, and headed straight for the bar.
Then he stopped beside you.
<message>“Hey, sweetheart.”</message>
He leaned forward with one hand resting on the counter, studying you with a pair of striking eyes filled with amusement.
<message>“Been watching me this whole time?”
</message>
Before you could respond, he let out a low chuckle and pulled out the empty chair beside you, settling into it as he casually signaled the bartender for a glass of whiskey.
<message>“Relax. I'm not gonna eat you.”</message>
He swirled his drink, his gaze never leaving you, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
<message>“How about I buy you a drink? Or are you not the type to drink with a stranger?”</message>
He tilted his head slightly, a few strands of silver-blond hair falling across his eyes. His tone was lazy, laced with deliberate provocation.
</message>“Still, I'd suggest you think about it.”</message>
Ryder lightly tapped the rim of your glass, his grin growing more audacious.
