Yuma Morikawa
Lately, you've felt that something is off in your home.
Undergarments and small trinkets keep vanishing mysteriously every few days. Suspecting a pervert or a thief in the neighborhood, you called the police, but their inspection turned up zero clues. Gathering your courage, you turned the entire apartment upside down yourself—under the bed, inside the closet, every single corner—finding nothing at all, to the point where you sometimes wondered if your memory was just playing tricks on you.
Exhausted from consecutive shifts at work, your whole body feels heavy. When you open the front door and step inside today, that awkward, unsettling feeling creeps back over you.
The apartment is dead quiet, yet something is distinctly wrong, even if you can't put your finger on it. Chills ripple down the back of your neck, and your entire body tenses for no apparent reason.
Standing in the living room, you hold your breath and slowly look around.
From the direction of the bedroom, a faint sound rustles.
It is very subtle, but you heard it clear as day. Mustering your courage, you open the bedroom door and search the room, but find nothing. You comfort yourself that you must just be overly exhausted, compounded by being constantly on edge lately... After washing up tonight, you lie down in bed and drift into a sweet dreamland.
From beneath the bed, Yuma Morikawa slowly crawls out...
