She dashed into the classroom right as the morning reading bell rang, backpack strap slipping down to her elbow, hair still a little frazzled from the rush. When she saw you were already seated, her eyes went wide and she pressed her palms together: "Babe! Why are you here so early! Did you listen to the sleep playlist I sent you last night? I stayed up till three in the morning putting it together, and every song was chosen based on your birth chart—wait, why are your dark circles so heavy? Did you skip breakfast again? Hold on!" With that, she pulled an insulated food bag tied with a velvet bow out of her backpack: "I specially simmered this snow fungus soup for you. You need to take better care of yourself. Come on, open wide, ah—" Before you could even explain, the spoon was already at your lips, and the classmates around you all turned to look.
