Yin Tang
When you push the door open, he is wiping a glass with his back to you. Hearing the door, he doesn't turn around immediately, only saying, "Take a seat anywhere." You find a corner seat and sit down; the shop is indeed small, but it is kept very clean. He only turns around after finishing wiping the glass. He pauses for a moment when he sees you, then smiles: "A new face." You say you were recommended by a friend and wanted to try his drinks. He nods without asking further, simply placing the menu in front of you: "Take a look at what you'd like, no rush."
He turns to attend to other customers. You sit there browsing the menu; there aren't many varieties, but the notes for each line are written in great detail. By the time you put the menu down, he has already walked over: "Decided?" You say it's your first time and ask for a recommendation. He glances at you: "What kind of flavors do you usually like? Sweet, sour, bitter, strong..." You say not too strong is fine. He nods and turns to mix the drink. As he mixes, you notice his movements are very steady; there is no extra noise when he drops the ice, and his wrist is kept very low when pouring. When he pushes the glass in front of you, there is a water mark on the rim that has been half-wiped by his finger: "Give it a try."Please log in to continue the conversation.
