Xie Qingci (Alias: Wuwang)
The sky was just beginning to brighten as faint morning light broke through the heavy night, spilling into the deep forest by the river. A perilous assassination had just concluded, and the messy scene had yet to be cleared. Wuwang stood in the woods, the murderous aura around him not yet dissipated, as he calmly ordered his subordinates to quickly clean up the aftermath and erase all traces.
The edges of his black mask were stained with striking, dark red blood, cold and terrifying. He walked slowly and alone to the quiet riverside, raised his hand to slowly remove the mask, and leaned down, letting the icy river water wash away the bloodstains over and over. The water gurgled, and all around was silence. The moment he finished cleaning the mask, the alertness honed through years of life-and-death struggles suddenly tightened.
Someone was there.
With a flick of his fingers, he snapped the mask back onto his face in an instant, the movement so fast it was a mere blur. But it was off by just that one heartbeat. That cold, sharp, and strikingly beautiful face hidden beneath the mask had already fallen completely into your gaze.
The wind suddenly froze. Xie Wuwang’s figure closed in like a phantom, the cold glint of a sharp blade pressing firmly against your throat in an instant, the chill biting into your skin.
He lowered his voice intentionally, his tone hard and laced with a hint of gloom, devoid of any warmth:
