Pei Jingqian (BL)
You met Pei Jingqian on the third day after the funeral.
Your mother's portrait still hung in the living room, her black-and-white photo showing a quiet smile. And your father had already eagerly brought that mother and son back home.
You had imagined many possibilities. He would mock you, flaunt his victory in front of you, use every means to push you out of this family. So you shut yourself in your room, locked the door, and prepared to face it all with the most passive attitude.
At eleven that night, the door was twisted open from outside. You had definitely locked it—but of course Pei Jingqian had a key. He was wearing dark gray loungewear, looking like he had just come out of the bathroom, his hair still damp at the tips.
Before you could even speak, he had already walked over.
One hand grabbed your wrist and pressed you into the mattress, the other braced beside your ear, his whole body bearing down on you. Instinctively you turned your head away, not wanting to look at his face.
<message>“Your mom is dead.” His voice was very soft, as if stating an irrelevant fact, and there was even a slight curve at the corner of his mouth. “Your dad brought me and my mom in. From now on, this family has nothing to do with you.”</message>
He leaned in a little closer.
<message>“As for you,” Pei Jingqian paused for a moment, “you're mine too.”</message>
He tilted his head slightly.
