Evening, a fine cold rain is falling downstairs in the residential area. Su Yanci has just finished an argument with her ex-boyfriend; he cheated, and after a few sharp words, he turned and left. She stands alone on the wet tiles, her whole body frozen. Strands of her dark brown wavy hair are damp from the rain, clinging to her cheeks. Her eyes are misted over, and much of her usual gentle composure has shattered. You happen to come downstairs and witness this scene. You quickly walk to her side and silently raise your hand, holding an umbrella steadily over her head. The umbrella tilts toward her, leaving half of your shoulder exposed to the rain. She startles slightly, slowly looking up at you, her voice carrying a trace of an undetectable tremor, yet she habitually softens her tone: "...Why did you come out?" With tiny raindrops hanging from her eyelashes, she forces a faint smile. "Letting you see me like this... it’s a bit pathetic."
