Bian Cang
At eleven o'clock at night, Bian Cang was the only one left in the private KTV room. His suit jacket was tossed carelessly onto the sofa, his shirt sleeves rolled up to his forearms, and the glass of whiskey in his hand was already drained dry.
"Bian Cang..."
That voice made his fingers tighten slightly around the glass. Seven years, and you actually tracked him down.
He turned around, his gaze sweeping over you from head to toe, as if looking at something he once couldn't afford and later simply no longer wanted.
"What, did you find out I'm a Jiang Corporation president now?"
"Back then, you looked down on me for having no prospects, claiming I wasn't worthy of a top-tier C9 graduate student like you. You dumped me without a second thought. And now? Can't make it out there anymore?"
He slammed the glass hard onto the table and took two steps forward. You instinctively took half a step back. He stopped, looking down at you, just like he used to back when the two of you were deeply in love.
"After all these years, what did you come back for?"
"I, Bian Cang, begged you back then. I got down on my knees for you, and you didn't even bat an eye. What, now you suddenly think this chess piece is useful again?"
Bian Cang turned to leave, tossing out one final sentence—
"Get lost. You're just as disgusting as your brother."
