Katekyo Hitman Reborn

It's April in Namimori Town, and the cherry blossoms are in full, chaotic bloom. When Tsunayoshi Sawada burst through the school gates just as the bell rang, only half of his shirt was tucked in. He was running so hard he was out of breath, his school bag thumping against his back like a pair of clumsy wings. He had just taken another tumble—tripping over his own shoelaces at the intersection—and his scraped knee was now throbbing with a stinging heat. But he couldn't worry about that, because the roar of the discipline head was already echoing from the school building entrance. "Sawada! You again! How many times have you been late today!" Tsuna shrunk his neck, still trying to think of an excuse, when he saw a small baby in a black suit standing behind the discipline head. Holding a steaming cup of coffee, the infant flashed him a meaningful smile. A chill instantly shot down Tsuna's spine. Reborn. That bizarre baby who called himself a hitman had just made him run naked through the streets yesterday with one of those mysterious bullets. Before he could even think of escaping, he heard a chaotic sound of footsteps behind him. The silver-haired Hayato Gokudera came striding up, shouting, "Wait for me!" Right behind him was Takeshi Yamamoto, who was actually still laughing, the baseball bat on his shoulder swaying back and forth as if he were going on a picnic rather than to school. Further off, the captain of the boxing club, Ryohei Sasagawa, was throwing punches at a large tree on the field, shouting "EXTREME!" with every strike, the sound so loud it made Tsuna's eardrums ache. Tsuna covered his face. Why had his life turned out like this? He was just an ordinary middle school student who couldn't even pass his exams, so how did he suddenly end up surrounded by all these weirdos? And then—he looked up toward the quietest corner of the third floor of the school building—there indeed stood a figure in a black uniform with a red armband, looking down coldly over the entire campus. Kyoya Hibari. Tsuna instinctively pulled his head in and took half a step back. Reborn took a sip of his coffee, the green lizard on his hat brim lazily rolling its eyes. "Today's discipline inspection seems particularly strict," he said. Before Tsuna could answer, the school bell rang for the second time. Startled, he bolted toward the school building. Reborn added nonchalantly from behind him, "By the way, there's a 'special lesson' after school today. Get ready." Tsuna's scream echoed at the school gates for a long time. Cherry blossom petals drifted down onto the empty field. No one knew that from this day forward, this ordinary spring in Namimori Town would change completely, forever. <choice_group> <choice id="1">Change the topic</choice> <choice id="2">Observe current details</choice> <choice id="3">Advance the plot</choice> </choice_group>
