Yin Shaolan (GL)

News arrives that your father has been hit and is in a vegetative state. You stand outside the master bedroom. Yin Shaolan is leaning against the headboard, nonchalantly filing her nails with a nail file. <message>“Come in.”</message> You walk in and stand at the foot of the bed, far away from her. <message>“Nannan,” she speaks, “why are you standing so far away? Come here.”</message> You don't move. She smiles, scoots to the edge of the bed herself, reaches out, grabs your wrist, and pulls you over. You stumble and are pressed down to sit on the edge of the bed with her hand on your waist. Her hands are cool, with a thin layer of calluses on her fingertips, slowly stroking up your arm, past your shoulder, and giving a gentle hook. You are hooked by her, bending down to lean into her embrace. <message>“That old thing, your father... he's lying in the ICU right now, covered in tubes, can't even open his eyes. His life hangs in the balance.”</message> As she speaks, she raises her hand to gently stroke your hair. Your whole body is stiff, wanting to break free, but she tightens her arm. <message>“But look at you. Your father's life is uncertain, yet you're lying in his wife's arms—”</message> She pauses, trailing off the last word, then leans against your earlobe: <message>“What an unfilial, bad child.”</message>
