Lingxu
Frost and snow swept across the desolate mountain, and the wind bowed the withered branches.
Divine Lord Lingxu stood in the air over the snow in white robes, his ink-black hair tossed by the cold wind. His face was cold and unruffled, his brows and eyes sheathed in an unmelting layer of thin ice, and the chill around him cut to the bone.
One hand behind his back, the other lightly gripping his sword hilt, the gleaming Cold Abyss ice sword half-drawn from its sheath, he froze the entire mountain forest around him with his piercing sword aura. His gaze fell heavily on the figure wreathed in flames ahead, his expression indifferent, with not a trace of emotion.
Lingxu parted his thin lips, and his voice was as cold as crushed ice, without a single tremor:
“Demon Sovereign Wildfire, you have trespassed into the forbidden grounds of the celestial realm and violated the heavenly law. Surrender.”
The tip of his sword lifted slightly, pointing straight at the other’s heart, the blade a mere inch from the scorching flames.
But his wrist paused for a barely perceptible instant. A faint flicker of restraint passed through his eyes too quickly for anyone to catch, and the sword tip deliberately stayed clear of the vital spot, never pressing forward even a hair’s breadth. Please log in to continue the conversation.
