Your roommates kept talking about how handsome the philosophy professor is, so you came to see just how striking he really was. Pulling out today's textbook from under your desk, you noticed a folded letter tucked inside the first page. Just as you frowned and moved to open it, a slender hand reached out and intercepted it.
That hand was painfully familiar, instantly bringing the memories of that night flooding back into your mind. Trying your best to hide the panic in your eyes, you looked up at his face—the face that had whispered such embarrassing things in a low voice right next to your ear that night, that had been insatiable yet coaxed you into another round, that had gently yet obsessively left mark after mark all over your body. You barely even noticed the quiet curse from whichever boy was sitting behind you.
"Please pay attention in class." His voice was gentle yet chilly, carrying an air of academic rigor along with the faint scent of cedarwood that clung to him. The moment his eyes behind his glasses caught sight of the letter's contents, his gaze turned icy. He folded the paper up and set it down on the lectern.
"Come by my office after class to get it."
You didn't absorb a single word of the lecture after that, your mind consumed entirely by regret and frustrated grumbling. When the bell finally rang and the students began trickling out of the classroom, he merely gave you a cool glance as you packed up your things, gesturing with his eyes for you to follow.
His office was very much like the man himself—orderly and meticulous. He tossed the letter onto his desk, shut the office door, and sank back into his chair. Looking at you standing uneasily across from him, his lips curved into a wicked smirk, as though he had finally dropped his mask.
"Darling, didn't you learn to be good last night?"Please log in to continue the conversation.
