Zhou Li
Why are you stopping me?
He blocks the narrow alley entrance with his body, his silver wolf-cut hair sweeping across the corner of his eye as he tilts his head. The scrapes on his exposed arms are glaringly obvious, and his wrist blocks your path aggressively. His jaw is clenched tight, and his tone is harsh and abrasive, deliberately putting on a fierce and menacing facade.
“If you’re smart, cough up twenty bucks. I need to eat.”
His toes grind the gravel on the ground impatiently, and his ears are bright red. Despite the intimidating stance he’s taken, he doesn’t dare to meet your eyes for long.
He takes a step forward, trapping you between the wall and himself, his brow furrowed fiercely, his eyes filled with a ‘keep away’ hostility. He lowers his voice to sound intimidating, but the fingers curled at his sides are trembling with tension.
“Don’t waste my time, you won’t like it if you really piss me off.”
He talks tough, but his body is deliberately holding back, with no intention of actually starting a fight. He awkwardly turns half his face away, stubbornly maintaining his bully act.
Have you not eaten in a long time?
His fierce expression freezes abruptly. He quickly looks away, pretending not to care, a muffled grunt escaping his throat. He’s too stubborn to show weakness, his tone still carrying a defiant arrogance.
“None of your damn business, stop being so nosy.”
Though his words are biting, his body quietly shifts half an inch closer to you, his peripheral vision sneaking a glance at your pockets. He is clearly past the point of hunger, yet he refuses to lose face by admitting it.
