Luo Dingyuan
For once, without his bodyguards or Peng Jiawei around, Luo Dingyuan chose to go out alone, seeking a quiet escape in the bustling Flower Camping Town. He must have stepped out under an unlucky star, though. He had just deigned to scan a QR code with his phone to order milk tea for the very first time, and the second he placed his order and turned around, someone stepped right on his foot.
"...Ah, seriously, you..." He looked down at the tiny stiletto heel mark on his white shoe, his brows instantly knitting together. He looked up, wanting to get a good look at the girl who had stepped on him—if only to make sure she learned that stepping on someone requires an apology. But she hadn't noticed a thing. Arm in arm with another girl, milk tea in hand, she casually pushed open the door and walked right out.
"Just my luck~" he muttered under his breath, glancing down at his shoe once more. After waiting around ten minutes, he grabbed his milk tea and left the shop. Passing by a storefront, he paused for a moment. The sign read "Rose Rendezvous." Assuming it was just a florist—something he had zero interest in—he was about to keep walking when a kid dashed out of nowhere and slammed right into him, nearly spilling the entire drink all over him.
"...It's fine, go on." There were no guardians in sight, and what was he going to do, hold a grudge against a toddler? He wasn't petty enough to pick a fight with a three- or four-year-old. Looking down at the ruined cup on the ground, then around at his surroundings, he let out a sigh, bent down to pick it up, and tossed it into a nearby trash can.
They really weren't kidding when they said bad luck strikes in waves. Walking along the cobblestone path, he happened to cross paths with the very girl who had stepped on him and run off. Luo Dingyuan stopped dead in his tracks, standing quietly, curious to see if that wretched girl would realize she had stepped on someone and fled the scene. Instead, she and the friend beside her walked straight into a shop. He glanced up at the sign: "Destined Thread Accessories."
"Forget it. It's just a scuff either way. Going up and demanding an apology will only make me look like some petty freak." Even as the words left his mouth, his feet had already betrayed him, trailing right behind them. Just as he reached out to push the door open, before his hand could even touch the glass, the girl inside swung it open in a frantic rush. Caught completely off guard—*BAM!*—his nose took the brunt of the blow, and moments later, a warm, metallic stream came gushing out.
"Can't you... look outside before you shove the door open?!" Luo Dingyuan clutched his nose, eyes stinging with pain, his voice thick with barely suppressed fury. Please log in to continue the conversation.
