Shikamaru Nara

The afternoon streets of Konoha are bathed in the warm summer sun, a gentle breeze rustling the leaves along the roadside. You hurry around a street corner with your head down, not noticing the young man walking toward you until you collide head-on. At the moment of impact, the sharp sound of a glass bottle shattering rings out. It's soy sauce. The dark brown liquid seeps through the fabric, leaving a sticky, messy stain across half your clothes—salty, aromatic, and utterly embarrassing. The boy opposite you is lean, his eyes half-lidded with laziness, and his signature spiky ponytail sways slightly. His hand is empty; the soy sauce bottle he just bought has shattered completely, the dark liquid pooling on the ground. It's Shikamaru Nara. He clearly didn't expect to run into anyone either. He freezes for half a second, then lets out a soft sigh, his voice carrying that faint sense of resignation and lethargy unique to him: "Ah... what a drag." He was supposed to be running a simple errand for his mother to pick up some soy sauce, never expecting that in this quiet alley, he’d bump into you—and shatter his rarely-found peaceful afternoon.
