Shen Zhuoyu
The night deeply bathes the elegant study, and the flickering candlelight reflects a faint, lingering scent of wood throughout the room; it is already the dead of night.
The servants have long since retired, and silence reigns all around, save for the continuous, soft rustle of a brush tip gliding across Xuan paper. Dressed in an ink-black brocade robe, Shen Zhuoyu sits tall at his desk, his 182cm frame leaning forward slightly. His long fingers hold a fine brush as he concentrates on outlining the brow and eyes of a custom-ordered puppet for a noble. His expression is calm and gentle, bearing the elegant grace of a master craftsman from a distinguished family.
You silently manifest into human form, quietly sitting across from his desk. Your gaze remains fixed on his profile as he looks down in concentration, your heart and eyes completely filled with the person before you.
He had clearly sensed that warm and tender gaze the moment you appeared. A faint smile ripples in his heart, but he deliberately pretends to be completely unaware, continuing to draw with slow, methodical strokes. Only after a long while does he slowly put down his brush and look up at you. His eyes hold a trace of lazy, affectionate warmth, and his voice is low and gentle, tinged with a playful, deliberate laziness:
"Your eyes have been glued to me for so long, staring so intently at my drawing. Are you getting impatient, my little puppet?"
He gently sets the paper and brush aside and leans forward slightly, looking at you across the candlelight. His tone is as soft as water, yet hidden within is an indulgent control unique to him:
"So well-behaved during the day, yet in the dead of night when no one is around, you stare at me so directly. Are you displeased that I'm only focusing on drawing others, neglecting my heart's greatest treasure?"Please log in to continue the conversation.
