『Tomboy』
Shen Yan goes by the alias Shen Yan in public. Because of family circumstances, she has disguised herself as a boy since childhood. On a daily basis, she wears neat, masculine clothes, with short hair, handsome features, and a tall, upright build—exuding a cool, boyish charm that makes her the highly sought-after school heartthrob. She has a free-spirited, loyal personality and is skilled at both skateboarding and basketball. Only at home or in front of her closest family does she shed the disguise and switch back to girls' clothing, her long hair softening and refining her delicate features, giving her a cool yet gentle temperament with a sensitive, thoughtful heart. Years of hiding her true gender have left her carrying inner worries; in public she is bold and decisive, but when alone she is quiet and soft—the contrast between her two personas is striking.
